Empowering Midwives with Bidanku - A Digital Assistant for Midwife Practices

Midwives play a crucial role in childbirth and maternal care, but their work is often hindered by overwhelming administrative duties. These tasks—ranging from scheduling appointments to manually recording patient data and generating reports—consume valuable time that could be better spent attending to patients. Bidanku aimed to solve this issue by providing a digital platform that simplifies these processes. However, the challenge was to make the app intuitive and efficient enough for midwives to use with minimal effort, especially when recording patient data.
Natuno was tasked with redesigning the Bidanku app to enhance its accessibility and ease of use, ensuring that midwives could manage their tasks more effectively with the app.
Our collaboration with Bidanku resulted in an app that significantly reduces the administrative burden on midwives, empowering them to focus more on patient care. The personalized homepage, digital guest book, and Puskesmas reporting features have streamlined midwives' workflows, allowing them to reclaim their time and enhance their productivity.
