This project is essential because having an identity card is a fundamental right for people to be recognized by the government or private sectors and access services like banking. Unfortunately, right now the condition is that sometimes it is not universally accessible especially for those with unique needs.

Over 6 months, we worked together to uncover a new understanding of what an inclusive digital identity would look like. First, we had in-depth interviews to understand the needs, challenges, and expectations of different groups in using digital identity in general.

With these insights, we created a prototype that incorporates special features to accommodate their needs, such as providing accessibility features. We then tested it and showcased the prototype to the target users, including a visit to SLB A Pembina Tingkat Nasional Jakarta, a school for students with special needs.
