How we helped Pintarnya improve the process of helping Job Seekers get jobs faster
The Context
Pintarnya is focusing on democratizing blue collar worker recruitment process through their Apps and Website. Currently Pintarnya apps mainly focused on providing job list for blue collar worker and helping them in applying the job.

The Challenge
In order to enhance their service and assist more job seekers, Pintarnya team was exploring new initiatives to refine their existing application and introduce additional features that fulfill user needs. Another challenge they presented to us was: how can we infuse a 'fun element' into the job application experience?
The Objective
Natuno team validated those needs and crafted the solution in the form of design.
The objective was to enhance the CV application experience by incorporating gamification elements, adding a fun and engaging dimension to the process.
We aim to deliver two key outputs:
1. A Minimum Viable Product (MVP) focused on specific features for upcoming releases
2. A comprehensive design file for team use, serving as a foundational asset for any future feature additions or developments.

Testing Our “Wild Ideas” Before Launch
After extensive concept testing, UI design, and proposals, we crafted a comprehensive user interface design.
Since the concept was new, we needed to ensure that our idea to add gamification could still resonate with users without distracting them from the main task: to apply for a job. Within a few weeks, we worked together with Pintarnya to visualize the ideas into functional features with a complete flow and cases. Subsequently, we created a design file that served as a foundational asset in case the team decided to pursue any further feature development.
The Features
Collecting Coins through Missions
Pintarnya is evolving into a super app, enabling blue-collar workers to earn money through permanent jobs or side gigs. Our goal was to transform side gig completion into a rewarding mission.
Introducing CariCuan
To achieve the stated goal, we designed a feature with an easy-access entry point right on the app's navigation bar. CariCuan presents a list of side gigs as engaging missions that users can join and perform online.
Provide gamified progress
This page provides mission status, enabling user to track their mission progress. To keep users engaged, we developed various status updates with distinctive visual cues.
One Source for Coins
Pintarnya planned to introduce an e-wallet feature in their app to allow users to store coins earned from missions and referrals. However, with the current semi-automated system, our goal was to ensure that users could use the e-wallet properly — from initial setup to cashing out coins.
To achieve this, we designed a comprehensive user guide with clear instructions and informative status updates on e-wallet readiness. We also addressed potential corner cases, providing visual solutions for each scenario.
Building Your Personal Brand
When applying for jobs, users must prepare a CV or resume. However, the problem is that many apply with incomplete CVs or for non-matching job vacancies.
Our design research revealed the need for a more supportive CV completion process. Our solution: a progressive guidance system for an enhanced form-filling flow.
To achieve this, we designed a guidance page with a completeness indicator and helpful tips for users. We ensured a continuous flow between different pages, providing an effortless navigation experience between different pages.
Well Organized Home
All newly introduced features can be accessed directly from Pintarnya's Homepage. Our goal was to ensure visibility and ease of access to these features, while still keeping the primary focus on job-seeking.
Therefore, we arranged the entry points based on their significance.
Firstly, we placed the e-wallet above the fold, making it highly noticeable. This strategic placement enables users to view their wallet balance immediately upon accessing the homepage, motivating them to earn more income.
Secondly, the 'Mission' section is located on the navigation bar, where it's readily accessible. This allows users to quickly take on side gigs while they wait for their job applications to be processed.
Last but not least, the 'CV completion' section has its own dedicated space below the e-wallet. This serves as a constant reminder encourages users to complete their CVs, a crucial component in the job-seeking process.
